Corporate Support Services Scrutiny Panel

The Corporate Support Services Scrutiny Panel deals with the provision, planning, management and review of the services provided by the Chief Executive's Office, Legal and Democratic Services and the Resources Directorate. Key responsibilities include:

• monitoring and maintaining corporate health
• assisting the achievement of compliance with the Council's legal and regulatory requirements
• supporting and reviewing the performance of the Council's internal audit function
• supporting and encouraging compliance with best practice in the governance of the Council
• leading on budget scrutiny
